Welcome to the online home of BoLT, a magazine for LGBTQ women in Ireland. It's an on-a-shoestring, seriously DIY, 'huh, what does money do?' kind of outfit run by a bunch of enthusiastic women who are in way over their heads. But we're hanging in there and we're having fun. We’re delighted to be in our second year of production - check out our Current Issue or visit our Archive.
BoLT Magazine is an entirely voluntary creation – meaning the folk editing, designing and distributing the magazine, as well as those supplying content, are all volunteers. We welcome support in all these areas so why don’t you Get Involved? The only thing not provided on a voluntary basis is printing and we are particularly grateful to our existing Subscribers for their help in meeting this overhead.
However much or little you think you can volunteer in producing, distributing or funding BoLT, we are open to any and all offers so please Get in Touch with your ideas or suggestions – or simply Subscribe for future issues here. Whether you are able to contribute material, pick up some copies and distribute them locally, edit, proof read, run a fundraiser, or have any other ideas for the magazine, we would be excited to hear from you.
