BoLT's New Years Resolution - Punctuality
After much debate we are changing the number of issues per year. Our original plan of producing one issue every two months has proven to be all but impossible for our small team. As more and more issues were printed one month, or more, after they were due to be released we have decided to reduce the frequency of issues and focus on bringing up the level of quality and punctuality.
In 2012 there will be four, not six, issues of BoLT, to be released in March, June, September and December.
Any subscriber who has signed up before January will recieve the 3 or 6 issues they paid for, but they will recieve them at longer intervals. We apologise to anyone who might be disatisfied with this arrangement, and we will offer a refund to any existing subscriber who wishes to cancel their subscription as a result of this change. Any person signing up as a subscriber from the 1st of January 2012 will be subscribing to four issues over the year.
We would like to thank all our readers for their continued support and wish you all a happy new year!
New Website
It's been on our to-do list for many months and it's finally up! We hope you like it. We're test driving the new look and layout for a few months, and may make changes to it after Christmas. If you've any issues, recommendations or other feedback about the website and what you'd like to see on it do let us know - drop a note to rosa.devine@boltmagazine.ie
Printing Delay
Team BoLT would like to apologise to those of you awaiting printed copies of issue 9, which has been up on the website for a number of weeks. For reasons that are still unclear to us there was a long hold up at the printers. We've finally gotten our hands on the print issues and they are in the post to subscribers as well as in several distribution locations
For The Record
Starting a magazine is hard work, but keeping it going is even harder. We would like to thank everyone who has read, laughed at, contributed to, written to or donated to BoLT since its beginning.
There are some people and organisations who deserve a special mention for their support. We would like to publicly acknowledge those people who were instrumental in the foundation of BoLT.
